Topic 7: Podcast

HELLLOOOOOO!

Technologies play a vital role in the learning process. Yeah i know I keep repeating it for past 4 entries but it is, technology always has heavy impact on education. So does PODCASTING. It is one of the latest medium to emerge into the mainstream which has became forefront technologies in this change. I did not know that we have variety of audios that we can listen to, online. This nooobie ( yes me the newcomer) only think of music, thanks to Madam Azida now i know that we can listen to audiobooks, story-telling, comedy, business, entertainment (you name it) online.. 

Podcast offers the opportunity for the teachers and lecturers to easily engaging the audio content. One of the greatest advantages of education podcasts is the portability and convenience they offer. Podcasts can be downloaded to a mobile device, allowing the students to access the learning resources anytime, anywhere with very little effort. To this off, in my opinion the most interesting and valuable uses of Podcasting in education is the concept of student created content. This allows students to take control of an aspect of their education and therefore encourages engagement in the material. Hence, Madam Azida give us opportunity to create our own podcast that may include personal information, book/film review, story-telling or opinions and then upload to our blog.

So, here we go! I would like to share with you guys about one of my favourite book, called "Eleanor and Park" by Rainbow Rowell. Hope you enjoy listen to them! (even I sound like a dying dolphin)
